ceramic faq’s

It is a professional-grade protective layer applied to your boat’s gelcoat, paint, and metal surfaces. It delivers a deep, high-gloss finish while creating a barrier against UV rays, salt exposure, oxidation, and environmental wear.

What is marine ceramic coating?

Is ceramic better than wax?

Yes!!

Unlike wax, ceramic coating chemically bonds to the surface for long-term protection and has easier maintenance than wax. It provides superior UV resistance, and maintains a higher level of gloss with far less upkeep.

With proper care, marine ceramic coatings typically last 1–3 years depending on usage, storage, and maintenance. Regular washes and maintenance details help maximize durability and performance.

How long does it last?

my boat is new/in good shape, does it need to be polished to have ceramic coated?

Yes. Even brand-new boats require a light polish before ceramic coating. New boats often have minor surface defects, factory haze, transport marks, or contamination that isn’t visible until inspected up close. Polishing ensures the surface is perfectly prepped so the ceramic coating bonds correctly, delivers maximum gloss, and lasts as long as possible..
